MEET THE TEAM
Michelle has been a makeup and hair artist for over 15 years and a makeup educator for schools and brands for over 8 years . She has a strong background in editorial, face and body painting, theatrical, glam, and bridal makeup; and she is currently going to school for special effects. She has worked on a variety of clients ranging from celebrities to athletes, musicians, models, brides and everyday people. Michelle is a creative and confident artist who can take on any job sent her way. When she’s not busy working you can find her rocking out at a concert, traveling with her husband, or attending her children’s sports or dance events .
Susanne is experienced in all genres of advanced beauty makeup, including special effects and prosthetic creation and application. After graduating from Cinema Makeup School's Complete Track Makeup Program in 2018, she worked as a commercial and editorial beauty makeup artist, as well as for various theatrical, film, and Halloween productions. Her works include Kim Kardashian's 2019 family Halloween costumes, and special effects MUA for television series Criminal Minds at Creature Effects Lab. Apart from working as a full-time makeup artist, she likes hanging out with friends and spending time with her hedgehog and two dogs.
Miya is a makeup artist and a costume designer from Taiwan and has worked in the film industry for three years. She earned a Costume Design Master Degree from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and Makeup Master course from Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles. Her works include monthly commercials for popular mobile game “Knives Out”. In her free time she likes watching movies and exploring museums.
Becca Ruzicka has been a working makeup artist for the past five years. After working at a makeup boutique in her hometown Houston, TX, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a master course at Cinema Makeup School. Since graduating in 2019, she has worked on projects that include the music video for "2 Dollar Bill" by 2Chainz, Lil Wayne, and E-40, and a feature film "Under My Skin", which premieres in 2020. Becca has been featured in LA Voyage and Makeup Artist Magazine. In her spare time, Becca enjoys exploring Los Angeles restaurants with her friends, and can never resist a good cheese board.
Karen Salas is a Los Angeles--based makeup artist. Inspired from a young age by makeup and special effects used in film, Karen began her career in makeup in 2017. She graduated from EI School of Professional Makeup in 2019, and has since worked at Midsummer Scream Trade Show. In her free time, Karen visits museums with friends and studies makeup from her favorite films.
Jules Scotese was born and raised in NYC. Her dad introduced her to sci-fi/horror movies, most notably The Fly and Beetlejuice, and this sparked her interest in transforming people with makeup. After working as a graphic designer in New York, she moved to Los Angeles to study at Cinema Makeup School, with a focus on prosthetics. She has worked in special effects studios as a sculptor, as well as on set for film and tv. Some previous clients include Toyota, the band Slipknot, and Universal Studios Horror Nights. Aside from makeup, Jules loves decorating cakes and has had the opportunity to work on cakes for the Kardashian family and Amazon Prime.
